Day 5 | See His Glory
Cloudy Conversations Prayer Experiment
“Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory.”
— John 17:24
Cloudy Thought
Jesus prayed for us to see His glory.
Sit with that.
Before the cross, before the pain, before the betrayal, before the weight of what was coming, Jesus prayed something deeply personal:
“Father, I want those You have given Me to be with Me where I am, and to see My glory.”
That is not distant religion.
That is invitation.
Yeshua does not just want us near enough to receive help.
He wants us close enough to behold Him.
That changes prayer.
Prayer is not only where we ask Yahweh to fix what is broken.
Prayer is where we draw near enough to see who He really is.
Because sometimes the issue is not that Yahweh is absent.
Sometimes the issue is that pain has clouded our vision.
Fear clouds vision.
Disappointment clouds vision.
Control clouds vision.
Grief clouds vision.
Exhaustion clouds vision.
Survival clouds vision.
And when your vision is cloudy, you can start seeing everything through the lens of what happened to you instead of who Yeshua is to you.
That is why glory matters.
Glory is weight.
Glory is beauty.
Glory is presence.
Glory is revelation.
Glory is Yahweh making Himself known.
Yeshua prayed that we would see His glory because seeing Him changes how we see everything else.
When you see His glory, fear gets smaller.
When you see His glory, the storm does not get the final word.
When you see His glory, your situation may still be real, but it is no longer ultimate.
When you see His glory, you remember that Yahweh is bigger than what has been trying to break you.
This is God territory.
We are not praying small prayers to a small God.
We are praying to the One whose love is wider, longer, higher, and deeper than we can measure.
We are praying to the One who can do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.
So today, as you pray for someone’s health, healing, and restoration, do not only pray that their symptoms change.
Pray that their sight changes.
Pray that they see Yeshua in the middle of it.
Pray that they see glory in places where they expected only grief.
Pray that they see presence in places where they felt abandoned.
Pray that they see hope in places where disappointment tried to blind them.
Because healing is not only physical.
Sometimes healing begins when our eyes open again.
This is the Third Way.
Culture’s way says, “If it hurts, escape it.”
Church’s way can say, “If you have faith, pretend it does not hurt.”
But the King’s Way says, “Come close. See My glory. Let My presence transform how you carry the pain.”
Yeshua does not invite us into denial.
He invites us into nearness.
He does not ask us to pretend the wilderness is easy.
He asks us to look for His glory while we walk through it.
That is what makes this prayer experiment powerful.
We are not just asking Yahweh to move around us.
We are asking Him to open our eyes within us.
Because when we see His glory, we stop living like the situation is bigger than the Savior.
And when that happens, people notice.
You carry pain differently.
You pray differently.
You wait differently.
You hope differently.
You walk through cloudy seasons differently.
Not because everything is perfect.
But because your eyes are fixed on Someone greater.
So today, pray for healing. Pray for restoration. Pray for strength.
But also pray this:
Jesus, let them see Your glory.
Because one glimpse of His glory can change how we walk through the wilderness of life.
Today’s Prayer Focus
Today, pray for someone’s health, healing, and restoration.
Pray that Yahweh strengthens their body, restores their mind, heals their heart, and opens their eyes to see Yeshua’s glory in the middle of their season.
Hands Down to Release
Yahweh, today I release cloudy vision.
I release fear.
I release discouragement.
I release disappointment.
I release hopelessness.
I release the belief that this situation is bigger than You.
Hands Open to Receive
Yahweh, today I receive fresh sight.
I receive healing.
I receive hope.
I receive strength.
I receive restoration.
I receive the ability to see Yeshua’s glory, even here.
Prayer
Yahweh, thank You for sending Yeshua, who prayed that we would be with Him and see His glory.
Today, I pray for the person You placed on my heart.
Strengthen their body.
Restore their mind.
Heal their heart.
Renew their hope.
Open their eyes to see Your presence in the middle of what they are facing.
Let them see Yeshua’s glory in places where fear, pain, or disappointment tried to blind them.
Remind them that this situation is real, but it is not bigger than You.
Do more than they can ask, think, or imagine.
And let their healing become a testimony of Your nearness, power, and love.
Amen.
Reflection Questions
- Who am I praying for today?
- Where do they need healing, restoration, or renewed strength?
- What may be clouding their ability to see Yeshua clearly?
- Where do I need Yahweh to restore my own vision?
- What would change if I believed Yeshua’s glory is present even in this season?
